Nell’ agosto 2007 The Bluesmen sono entrati alla NHQ Recording di Ferrara per registrare il loro nuovo lavoro discografico intitolato Wild in the Country.
Il cd contiene 11 brani di cui 9 inediti firmati da Roberto Formignani, uno dei quali insieme a Massimo Mantovani e uno insieme a Dirk Hamilton, che collabora come cantante chitarrista nello stesso brano.
Insieme al cd uscirà un 45 giri in vinile che contiene un ulteriore brano inedito strumentale ( So Free ) firmato da Formignani e Mantovani dedicato ad Antonio D’Adamo, armonicista della formazione originale scomparso nel 2005, oltre ad un remix di Why not me ? contenuto nel cd.
Hanno partecipato alle registrazioni oltre a Dirk Hamilton come cantante chitarrista in Come with me, Roberto Poltronieri alla pedal steel guitar in Aleynad Song e Rossella Graziani e Ricky Scandiani hanno curato i cori in C.C.Rider.
La produzione è stata curata dalla stessa Band e da Alberto Ronchi; la fonica da Gigi Battistini e le foto e la grafica rispettivamente da Luca Gavagna e Loriano Pellegrinelli. |
